TheCarrier Corporation has developed a system that provides variable amounts of air and variable temperatures to provide individualized control zones from a single heating/air conditioning unit. This system, called VVT, made possible by advances in micro-electronic controls technology, allows for a thermostat in every room, providing superior comfort and energy efficient operation. With VVT, each zone thermostat interfaces to a supply air damper to insure that airflow is controled automatically to avoid heated or cooled air to areas where it is not needed.
